Reinventing the Chase credit card portfolio.

How do you balance two major brands on one card while respecting the world’s most admired photos?

OVERVIEW

For the Chase credit card re-design, we were asked to find a way to insert the bank’s logo prominently into all current and future designs featuring photos.

OUR APPROACH

A transparent overlay of Chase logos formed a subtle background pattern, echoing the traditional style of many currencies.

Shamlian Creative proposed that key elements in the photos such as people, animals and buildings could be placed over the Chase logo, which frames the subject.

Chase, National Geographic and other major co-brand partners were pleased with the solution, which Shamlian Creative realized on nearly 200 Chase card designs.
